Acting Teacher
JACOB C. MIRER has been performing since the age of 5. He has his BA in Theatre/Performing Art from SUNY Buffalo, and has been studying at the Matthew Corozine Studio, Theatre for 4 years. He has taught drama to all ages in anything from Shakespeare to Modern Monologues, and is very excited to join the staff of professional and inspiring coaches and workers at the studio. As a dancer, he has toured Russia, and been involved in the International Theatre Festival in Costa Rica in The Shoemaker’s Prodigious Wife. Some of his favorite performances were in Midsummer Nights Dream, Much Ado About Nothing, Cabaret, Waiting for Lefty, Brilliant Traces (at the MCS), The Diary of Anne Frank. He has been seen on screen in the CBS TV movie The Princess Son, and most recently in the Cannes Film Festival short, Crusher. He is a proud member of AEA and toured in numerous regional shows. He thanks his family & friends without whom he wouldn’t be pursuing his dreams, and specifically to Matthew who continually pushes him to great heights, O the places you’ll go!
