Accolades to Matt Clemons! His script 'Dirty Back Road' placed as a Semifinalist in the 2016 Academy Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship. The Academy Nicholl Fellowship is the only screenwriting competition affiliated with the Academy (i.e. the Oscars) and judged by Academy members. Out of 6,915 entries, his script was one of 149 Semifinalists. Congratulations, Matt!
Theatre 4the People will present the World Premiere of Haley Rice's LOU, directed by Kate Moore Heaney, May 19-June 3 at The Paradise Factory, with performances Tuesday through Saturday at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm. We're so proud of MCS's own David Lipman, in HBO's "The Wizard of Lies" with Robert DeNiro and Michelle Pfeiffer. David plays a lawyer in the movie about the Bernie Madoff scandal, airing next month on May 20th.
