The Broadway, television & film acting coach, teacher, and theater director, brings his transformative"Get Outta Your Head" Meisner-based technique classes to Miami.

Matthew guides each student through the art of listening, to go past their “stories” and hidden blockages, to be completely present in each moment. The space belongs to the student – each actor is empowered to go beyond what stands in their way to being a fully expressed artist.

Trevor Mcwhirter
Miami Class Assistant

Trevor was born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana. He moved to San Francisco at 19 for skateboarding and worked as a carpenter. He then attended CCSF, which is where he had his first theatre class and was immediately hooked. He moved to Miami Beach in 2016 and started attending improv classes. Once MCS came to Miami, he knew it would be the place to further his acting knowledge and abilities and now attends class as Matthew Corzine's assistant. Trevor looks forward to growing MCS Miami and collaborating with other creatives to produce events for MCS Miami actors!
